Physical Therapy

Physical therapy focuses on a child’s basic movement, balance and coordination skills. Our physical therapist designs individualized programs to develop and improve a child’s motion, strength, balance, mobility and movement skills. Treatment may include therapeutic exercises and activities, functional training, physical agents and or assertive technology to maximize a child’s functional independence, decrease pain and prevent secondary impairments.

Laura C. Terheggen, is a full-time physical therapist.  She has 27 years of experiences and holds a license to practice in the State of Texas. Laura is a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston.  

Denise Kingsbury, is a full-time physical therapist. She has 15 years of experience under her belt and holds a licensed to practice in the state of Texas. Denise is Neonatal Intensive Care Unit trained & is Neuro-Development Treatment Certified. 

Maria E. Garza, is a therapy aide. She has 28 years of experience and assists the physical therapist during treatment to enhance a child's experience. She ensures universal practices are followed between patient care.
