The Moody Clinic was organized in 1952 by a small group of parents and concerned Community members
who recognized the need to provide services to the many disabled children in Brownsville
who would never have the opportunity for healthy, happy and productive
lives without them. This group formed the Brownsville Society for Crippled
Children to offer direct patient care services to families, regardless of
their ability to pay for said services. It is the intent of the board and
staff of the Moody Clinic to continue to provide the highest quality care and
to advocate for the disabled children of Brownsville and its environment.
Our focus will always be on these special children and the needs of their families
as we move into the future. It is our belief that a community can only
moved forward if all citizens are allowed the opportunities and services necessary
to realize their potential. |
